Budgets and finances

Vancouver is consistently ranked as one of the most livable cities in the world. We are committed to support the local economy and build a world-class community that is livable and sustainable today and in the future.

Every four years we develop our capital plan, a long-term plan for infrastructure investments. The capital plan informs what we budget for the year.

Each year, we develop a capital and operating budget that outlines how tax dollars are invested across programs and services to support our business and residents.

2018 Budget

In the 2018 Budget, we will include a five-year balanced financial plan to guide our strategic investments and business transformation opportunities while keeping property tax, utility fees, and user fees affordable over the long term.
