Let’s celebrate the beautiful game together, Vancouver! The City and FIFA invite you and your family to join us at the Fan Zone in downtown Vancouver at Larwill Park, located at Cambie and Georgia, during the FIFA Women’s World Cup Canada 2015TM, June 6 – July 5.

This free, family-friendly soccer-celebration destination has been created to welcome the world and share the spirit of the World Cup with Vancouverites and visitors alike.

The Fan Zone is open: June 6, June 8, June 11, June 12, June 15, June 16, June 21, June 23, June 27, June 30, July 1 (Canada Day), July 4, and July 5.

Fan Zone activities

Fan Zone features live soccer match broadcasts, exciting local live music acts, exhibition soccer tournaments, athlete autograph opportunities, delicious food and beverages, and much, much more.

  1. Drop in to the Vancouver FIFA Fan Zone on any of the days it's open.
  2. Take a Fan Zone selfie.
  3. Tweet your Fan Zone selfie using #VanFanZone and include@Miss604.
  4. Stay and have fun!

Visit the Fan Zone for on-site contests and giveaways.

Keep up your energy with food trucks themed by which countries are playing that day.

Beer service available for purchase in the main area, along with free Coca Cola samples available at the Perfect Serve Tent.

Main stage entertainment

Live performances at the main stage will reflect diversity and strong female performers. View the events calendar to see who is playing when.

Roaming entertainment and performances

Keep an eye out for entertainment by Frederica and Sammi, our Soccer Stilters, and an ear out for roaming performers Bloco Energia.

Home game night parades

On home game nights, be sure to take part in the parade led by musical entertainment from Fan Zone to BC Place.

Professional freestyle footballer and Latin American and European Champion Laura Biondo performs four times daily.

On-site tournaments

Take in the Street Soccer Tournament on game nights, and girls youth soccer tournaments

Hands-on activities

Test your skills on with interactive games such as:

  • Kick point (shoot out), reaction challenge, and goalkeeper challenge on an inflatable play area
  • Robokeeper Ultimate Goalie Game, complete with robotic goaltender
  • Daily skill and drills activities coached by SFU and UBC women's soccer team coaches
  • Pick up tournaments with Vancouver Street Soccer League
  • Shootout games open to the public, competing against SFU and UBC Women’s team members

Have your photo taken either defying or controlling gravity, and diving to save a soccer ball.   

Collect autographs and high-fives

There will be daily player appearances and autograph signing, plus mascot appearances.

Park your bike for free with the Bicycle Valet

Travel smart and take advantage of a worry-free Bicycle Valet service on site at the Fan Zone.

  1. Securely attach your helmet and panniers to your bike.
  2. The Bicycle Valet will tag your bike and give you a claim stub.
  3. Enjoy the Fan Zone for as long as you like.
  4. When you're ready, present your claim stub to the valet and your bike is back!

Be sure to plan your route beforehand.
