Bosa Properties Inc. has applied to amend the existing application that was submitted in 2008 for this site. The main revision has been to propose an 18-storey residential building on Quebec Street and an 8-storey building with ground floor retail uses and 7 residential floors of rental housing under the Short-Term Incentives for Rental (STIR) prgramme on Main Street. The total floor area proposed is 20 820.8 m² (224,114 sq. ft.). The applicant has revised an outstanding application on this site that was submitted in 2008 to increase height and density. The height of the proposed Quebec Street building from would increase from 15 to 18 storeys (50 metres to 56 metres). The total density proposed is 5.02 FSR.
Council approved this application at Public Hearing on June 16, 2011 and enacted By-law No. 10348 at a Regular Council Meeting on October 4, 2011.
