May 16, 2013 – The City of Vancouver is stepping up its support for Vancouver’s booming social enterprise sector, providing grant funding totaling $380,000 over two years to two organizations to support the growth of the social enterprise sector and the capacity of businesses to hire and support people with barriers to employment.

May 16, 2013 – From now until July, if you live in a house or duplex, your Green Bin and recycling will be emptied every week, and your garbage bin every other week. To help you with this change, sign up online for garbage and Green Bin collection reminders by email, text message, voicemail or tweet.
